Capturing Sweet Memories since 1994 With over 12 (and counting!) years of Photography by Cupcake, 10 years of printing and managing photo labs, and 8 years of coaching competitive and preschool gymnastics...I feel that I am a uniquely qualified photographer for your family. As a "self taught" photographer, I spent my hours of "learning" through the various photographers I worked for and printed for before opening Photography by Cupcake "officially" in 1996. Spending many hours out on soccer fields with sports photography, hours late at night with Proms, and on the road taking portraits of gymnasts has prepared me for just about anything you can bring me, and I always ready for more! In addition, I have been involved in photography since I was practically born! I have photographed my dolls, my pets, and my millions of nieces since my father gave me a camera when I was 10 years old! IF I could have one wish, it would be that someone would invent a camera for my eye...since everywhere I go, I see pictures! My style of photography is pretty contemporary. I love the studio for making "statements" with your child's personality through props and facial expressions; and I love the real world such as your home, or environment for capturing those sweet fleeting moments as they happen when you just let things unfold. When you contact me for your session, we'll go over all of the things you may want to consider for your portraits and I'll make sure you are prepared for capturing everything you wish for! After photographing for 13 years in my "home studio," we have recently opened a brand new studio located on 3/4 of a gorgeous acre, nestled right off Centerville Rd. in Garland, Texas. I have a full indoor studio available, as well as many outside areas for your session. I am also available to come to your home, or a park for your session! Over the years, I have grown a large customer base solely by "Word of mouth".... And many of our customers have become like family here. Because I strive to make it feel like you are coming over to spend some time with a friend, it is so much easier on the kids; they pick upon the friendly relaxed atmosphere, and enjoy the experience that much more!
